Installation

1. Download the software

2. Install the software (FloEFD™ for Solid Edge® Student Edition ONLY)

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • You must be logged in as an administrator on the computer you are installing FloEFD™ for Solid Edge® Student Edition.
  • FloEFD™ for Solid Edge® Student Edition requires an installed and licensed Solid Edge 2019 (or ST10) Student Edition.
  • Unzip the downloaded ZIP archive in a folder of your choice
  • Start the program 'setup.exe' in that folder
  • In the ‘FloEFD™ for Solid Edge®’ window, click Install FloEFD x64 (first entry in the list). Wait while the setup Wizard prepares for he FloEFD installation.
  • Click Next to display the ‘Customer Information’ screen.
  • Specify the user information.
  • Click Next to display the ‘Licensing’ screen.
  • Delete any content in the input form
  • Click Next to display the ‘Destination Folder’ screen.
  • Accept the default target path or click Change to select the target directory.
  • Click Next to display the ‘Setup Type’ screen
  • Accept the default setting ‘Complete’ and
  • Click Next to display the ‘Ready to Install’ the Program screen.
  • Confirm the previous selections by clicking Install.
  • Click Finish when the installation is complete.
