Children, teens and adults with mild to severe physical and developmental disabilities come to Camp Paivika in the summer for horseback riding, swimming, adaptive sports, campfires and cookouts, arts and crafts, performing arts and other enjoyable, enriched activities. With a sense of freedom inspired by time spent outdoors in natural surroundings, campers learn and develop new interests and confidence through guided play, social skills building and exploration.

The Acadia Institute of Oceanography offers a two week Intermediate program for students in grades 5-8. The Intermediate sessions are designed for students age 12-15 and present a solid natural history approach to oceanography while introducing students to. Many of the Adventure Earth Centre programs are offered at Camp Mockingee. Situated on scenic Lake Mockingee, it is surrounded by a beautiful forest with hiking and nature trails. Recent upgrades and the addition of new facilities make Camp Mockingee a very comfortable place to be.
